Horror Movie, Comedy, or TV Character

Includes characters from franchises such as:
The Addams Family
Friday the 13th
A Nightmare on Elm Street
The Walking Dead
Beetlejuice, Chucky, Scream, and more...

Original Monster

100% Creativity. This category recognizes original character designs and creations, as well as unique reinterpretations. Let your imagination run wild and impress the judges with something never seen before!​

Horror Video Game

For fans of the scariest video games, such as:

Bendy and the Ink Machine

Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNAF)

Little Nightmares

Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Dead by Daylight, and others...

Group Horror Category

This category is for graduating class groups and organizations that wish to compete.
Limit: 10 participants per group.
They may use horror movies, series, or video games as reference.

Examples include:

• Bendy and the Ink Machine (different game characters)

• Ghostbusters (different movie or animated series characters)

• The Addams Family (different movie or animated series characters)

• Beetlejuice (different movie or animated series characters)
  and others.

General Rules

Registration:
It will take place in the designated event area—limited capacity.
Participants must register in advance and confirm attendance on the day of the event.

Stage Time:
A maximum of 1 minute per participant or group for the stage presentation.

Props and Weapons:
Only safe replicas are allowed. Real weapons are strictly prohibited.
The security team will inspect all weapons and props before entering the event.

Costume Requirements:
Must be appropriate for a general audience. Nudity or explicit content is not allowed.
Costumes must adequately cover private areas and cannot be transparent.

Behavior:
All participants must respect other contestants, attendees, and event staff.
Any offensive or disruptive behavior will result in immediate disqualification.

Costume Originality:
At least 70% of the costume should be self-made.
Costumes purchased in their entirety will not be eligible for craftsmanship awards.

Performance:
Judges will evaluate character interpretation, creativity, and audience interaction.
The use of fire, pyrotechnics, liquids, or any element that may pose a safety risk is prohibited.

Image Rights:
By participating, you agree that your image may be used in photos and promotional videos for the event.

Awards

Winners in each category will receive cash prizes and promotional items.
Judges will evaluate:

• Creativity and originality

• Craftsmanship and costume finish

• Character interpretation and stage presence

• Faithfulness to the character (if applicable)

🥉 THIRD Place: $100.00 + Framed Event Award
